CCDonate statement charge help
CCDONATE is how donations and fundraising payments processed through CaringCent for partner organizations appear on a card statement. If the charge isn't familiar, this page explains the most common reasons it appears and where to go next.

Why the charge appears
The description on your card can feel generic because the payment is processed through CaringCent instead of showing the partner organization's full name. These are the most common explanations.
You may have given through an email appeal, a campaign page, a text link or a fan fundraising moment powered by CaringCent.
Monthly gifts and pledges keep posting as CCDONATE until the pledge is lowered, paused or stopped.
A rally pledge is charged after the results come in, so the charge can arrive a while after the game or the campaign that set it.
If you enrolled in a round-up or automated giving program, smaller gifts can post after the related purchases settle.
Manage a gift
Most changes don't need a message to us at all. Here is what you can do on your own, and what happens when a card declines or a charge is disputed.
Each CaringCent receipt email has a secure Manage my pledges link. Open it to lower a pledge or its monthly cap, or to stop it, with no account and no password. The link works for 90 days and only for the email address it was sent to.
No receipt handy? Ask for a new secure link and we email one to the address you gave with.
To raise a pledge or its cap, sign in to the donor portal. A receipt link can lower or stop a gift, never raise one, so a forwarded email can't be used to give more in your name.
When a card keeps declining, we stop trying that card. Your pledge is paused until you add a new card, and we email you to say so.
Add a new card under Funding account in the donor portal, and billing picks up again on its own. Nothing is charged while the pledge is paused.
If a charge looks wrong, write to us first. We can usually tell you what it was for, and stop or refund it, faster than a bank dispute.
If you do dispute a charge with your bank, future charges on your pledges stop as soon as the dispute opens, and the organization you gave to is told. If you would like to keep giving afterward, write to us and we'll restart it.

What CaringCent does
CaringCent provides the donation experience, campaign support and engagement strategy that help partner organizations bring in new and repeat gifts.
More than just a fundraising platform. Full-service fundraising technology, digital support and expertise.
Donation technology
CaringCent powers the donation pages and pledges that help partner organizations turn interest into completed gifts and keep supporters engaged over time.
Digital support
Our platform runs the emails, links, pages and fundraising moments that connect donors to the causes and teams they care about.
Partner expertise
CaringCent works with organizations as a fundraising partner, not just a payment processor, which is why our name can appear on the statement instead of a longer campaign name.
Understand your charge quickly
A few details make a charge much faster to look up. Start with the basics, then use the links to manage a pledge, sign in, learn about CaringCent or read our policies.
These details help us connect a statement charge to the right campaign, pledge or round-up.
For your security, never send a full card number, bank account number or security code.
Lower or stop a pledge with a secure link from your receipt. No account needed.

It marks a donation or fundraising payment processed through CaringCent for a partner organization. The organization's or campaign's full name doesn't always fit in a card statement's description.
Card statement descriptions are short. Because the payment is processed through CaringCent, the short CCDONATE description can appear instead of the partner name you remember from the campaign, email or donation page.
Open the Manage my pledges link in any CaringCent receipt email. You can lower a pledge or its cap, or stop it, without signing in. No receipt? Ask for a new secure link, or write to us.
When a card keeps declining, we stop trying it and pause the pledge until a new card is added, and we email you to say so. Add a card in the donor portal and billing picks up again on its own. Nothing is charged while the pledge is paused.
Call the number on the back of your card right away, then tell us so we can stop any future charges and look into the gift.
